Finance Analyst, Processor | Qualcomm | Bangalore, KA

Qualcomm is currently conducting interviews for the position of Finance Analyst within their esteemed Global Business and Finance Support (GBFS) team. As part of this team, you will provide essential support to the headquarters and global regional teams, assisting with Finance & Business Operation activities. This role primarily focuses on finance-related tasks such as software billing, pricing system updates, Opex management, and reporting.

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Handle individual responsibilities related to transactional and basic analytics tasks, including month-end activities and reporting, updating pricing activities in the system, software billing, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
• Ensure regular data updates and maintenance in the financial system.
• Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to facilitate budgeting forecast processes, outlooks, monthly operating expense reports, and journal entries.
• Demonstrate accountability and complete ownership in delivering accurate and timely results.
• Work closely with HQ and global regional teams, engaging in regular interactions for reviews, transition calls, and process documentation of all activities.
• Be available for evening calls to accommodate reviews and transitions of activities.
• Perform additional ad hoc finance activities as required.

Requirements:

• 0 to 2 years of relevant industry experience in finance FP&A activities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to timely and high-quality output.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and enhance skills, including familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Flexibility to participate in evening calls for HQ reviews and regular transition calls.
• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration (BBA).
