About the program:
As a participant in the Finance Rotational Program, you’ll have the opportunity to rotate through various roles over a set period. This exposure provides you with a comprehensive understanding of accounting and finance functions within Johnson Controls, as well as insights into our diverse business models.
Participants are encouraged to take on extra challenges beyond their usual tasks, enabling them to broaden their expertise and expand their professional network. We continually offer training, development, and mentorship opportunities for Graduate and Postgraduate trainees, with the expectation that you will leverage these resources effectively.
Your responsibilities:
As a finance associate, you might engage in the following activities:
Finance Transformation:
- Assist with project reporting alongside the project controller and Swiss finance leadership.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of project resource costing and reporting.
- Support the administration and review process for commercial partner Change Requests.
Cash Management:
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team in daily operations.
- Engage in reporting and data visualization efforts.
- Conduct bad debt calculations and manage Accounts Receivable statistics and reconciliations.
Financial Compliance:
- Aid in establishing and maintaining effective financial controls.
- Participate in regional and global projects while networking with management teams.
- Utilize your analytical skills to assist in compliance reviews.
Qualifications required:
- Recent Graduate or Postgraduate in Commerce or an MBA with a focus on Finance.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills along with sound decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Fluency in English.
