Baker Hughes is conducting an interview for the post of Early Career Trainee Program for Engineers.
The Early Career Traineeship at Baker Hughes is tailored for recent graduates who meet their criteria, offering them a unique opportunity to undergo comprehensive training within a specific business area. Over a duration of 6 months, this program aims to enhance both technical expertise and soft skills, providing invaluable on-the-job learning experiences and exposure to real-world challenges.
Throughout your traineeship, you’ll actively engage in focused training sessions, team meetings, and project work, where you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your skills and present your findings. You’ll receive dedicated support from both a designated buddy and your manager, ensuring you have a rewarding and enriching learning experience.
As a Trainee, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing high-performing, scalable, and innovative end-to-end applications.
- Writing code that adheres to established standards and fulfills desired functionality, utilizing the chosen technology for each project.
- Understanding performance metrics and evaluating application performance.
- Implementing core data structures and algorithms using your preferred programming language.
- Executing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify areas for business improvement.
- Acquiring proficiency in internal software tools to facilitate project completion and task management.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and fellow interns, fostering valuable interactions and networking opportunities with global business leaders.
- Receiving coaching and mentoring to support you in successfully completing assignments and projects, facilitating your learning and skill development journey.
Requirements:
- Be recently graduated in a business related Bachelors or Masters level Engineering Degree
- Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country
- Be fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills
- Have the legal right to work without restrictions or have company sponsorship in the country you have applied
- Be able to relocate for the duration of your internship (locations vary)
