Job description:

The HR – Recruitment Intern will play an essential role in supporting the recruitment and placement process by working closely with universities, hiring managers, and the internal recruitment team. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in recruitment activities, student engagement, and building professional networks, while also ensuring the smooth execution of placement drives and onboarding.

Key responsibilities:

  • Connect with universities, student organizations, and recruitment networks to build partnerships and source candidates.
  • Design and update job descriptions as required by hiring managers and the recruitment team.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with colleges and universities for campus hiring initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Branding Team to execute brand-building campaigns for campus hiring and support digital marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate initial meetings between candidates and Hiring Managers for recruitment.
  • Manage the end-to-end interview process, including scheduling offline and online interviews.
  • Support all placement-related activities and ensure smooth execution of placement drives.
  • Provide timely feedback to students and ensure the felicitation of placed students.
  • Maintain accurate student placement records in the Application Tracking System (ATS).
  • Utilize LinkedIn and MS Excel for recruitment activities, sourcing, and candidate management.
  • Prepare weekly reports on recruiting metrics to track progress and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with various teams like Recruiting, Training, IT, and Facilities for onboarding new hires.
  • Gain a fair understanding of Talent Sourcing concepts, networking tools, and job boards to enhance recruitment efforts.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders, universities, and students.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on various activities and priorities.
  • Proactive, goal-oriented, and ambitious, with a dedication to a long-term career vision.
  • Strong work ethics and the ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and integrity.
  • Fair understanding of Talent Sourcing concepts and the use of networking tools like LinkedIn and job boards.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel for data management and reporting.
