Job description:
Procter & Gamble (P&G) is currently seeking Sales Interns for multiple positions across India. As a Sales Intern, you will have significant responsibilities from day one. Your main focus will be on building and nurturing long-term partnerships with customers by proposing effective solutions and plans that align with their objectives. This role will give you the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of product categories and markets.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain productive, long-term relationships with your assigned customers.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and requirements.
- Acquire in-depth insights into shoppers, categories, and market dynamics.
- Adapt and optimize country commercial guidelines to cater to your specific clients.
- Lead negotiations on contracts, promotional plans, and innovations with customers.
- Prepare volume forecasts and strategic plans for your category (e.g., Laundry with Ariel, Oral Care with Oral B, Hair Care with Head & Shoulders, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams from other departments.
- Act as a link between your customers and internal teams, resolving any issues and problems promptly.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Students currently pursuing a Master’s degree in majors such as Marketing, Business Administration, or other relevant fields.
- Genuine passion for Sales and Marketing, with an external focus.
- Proficient in English.
- Eligible to participate in the Internship Placement process at their respective campuses.
