Job description:

Edifecs is currently seeking an HR Intern in Chandigarh to join their People & Culture team. As an HR intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Human Resources. This internship aims to provide exposure to different HR functions and develop essential skills for a successful career in HR.

Job duties & responsibilities:

• Support HR Projects and Initiatives: Assist in various HR projects and initiatives, including performance management, learning & development, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
• Policy and Procedure Development: Help in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Research and Process Improvement: Conduct research on HR best practices and contribute to the improvement of HR processes.

Qualifications and experience required:

1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. HR Career Aspiration: Strong interest in pursuing a career in HR.
3. HR Knowledge: Familiarity with HR principles, practices, and regulations.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
6. Computer Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software/systems.
7. Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
8. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
9. Positive Attitude: A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to tasks.
