ABB is conducting an interview for the post of HR Operations Specialist.
Job duties and responsibilities:
As an HR Operations Specialist reporting to the HR Delivery Manager at ELC in Bangalore, India, your primary responsibility will be to handle day-to-day HR transactions for one or more assigned service lines or countries. You will also manage complex and escalated tasks, ensuring a high level of customer experience by completing HR transactions accurately and in a timely manner. Additionally, you will support globally set standards for HR operations and ensure compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements in the HR operations front office/hub.
Essential responsibilities will include:
- Executing HR CORE processes through SAP, ensuring accurate data in Organization Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA), and Payroll based on global standard processes.
- Taking ownership of the complete employee life cycle from hiring to retirement/termination.
- Monitoring payroll-related data in HR Core (e.g., salary, recurring payments) and ensuring proper supporting documentation.
- Playing a key role in the ‘lock and unlock’ process of critical data within HR Core.
- Capturing Employee Life Cycle Management (ELCM)-related activities in appropriate systems and recording employee queries in the ticketing tool.
- Ensuring execution and delivery of ELCM services according to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) such as Turnaround Time (TAT), quality, and Customer satisfaction (C-SAT).
- Extracting reports for internal data quality through Ad-hoc query or customized Transaction codes.
Qualifications and experience required:
- A Bachelor’s degree in any stream.
- Ideally, 1-3 years of experience in HR Shared Services in a global organization would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple demands on time and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong analytical skills.
- A proactive working style with a “can-do” attitude to serve customers effectively.
- Flexibility to work in shifts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, high transaction team environment.
