Job duties and responsibilities:
As an Account Reconciliation Specialist, your primary focus will be on reconciling accounts and processing customer claims. You will be responsible for verifying and reconciling accounts, handling complex transactions, and rectifying customer ledger accounts. Additionally, you will reconcile accounts receivable records with sales invoices and coordinate with internal teams such as logistics, pricing, and account managers to investigate and resolve customer claims. Maintaining standard reporting on quality and timeliness will also be a part of your responsibilities.
Skills required:
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Understanding of general financial transactions on customer ledgers, including debits and credits, is preferred.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel is essential to perform data analysis and manipulation effectively.
- Possess keen analytical and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues in account reconciliation.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and able to manipulate and analyze data accurately.
- Exhibit diligence and a strong work ethic to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
