Job description:
Altair is seeking a motivated HR Data Intern to join the Human Resources team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR data management, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will assist in various HR data-related projects, contributing to the development of efficient data management practices within the organization.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and updating HR databases and systems.
- Support data collection, validation, and entry processes.
- Assist in generating HR reports, metrics, and analytics.
- Collaborate with HR team members to analyse data and identify trends or insights.
- Contribute to the improvement of data quality and integrity.
- Assist in ad-hoc HR data-related projects as required.
- Support in creating visualizations and dashboards to present insights from data.
- Contribute to the documentation of analysis methodologies and findings.
Qualifications and experience required:
Basics:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Masters degree in human resources, Business Administration, Data Science, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred:
- Previous HR or Data Analytics internship or project experience
- Working experience in a global team
