Job duties and responsibilities:
As an Assistant Relationship Manager in our Consumer Cards Sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by achieving monthly sales targets and acquiring new customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing consultative selling techniques to promote and sell our cards products through various acquisition channels, such as Retail, Corporate, and Venue-sales.
- Prospecting for new customers through existing leads, cold calling, and maximizing lead generation efforts.
- Executing sales activities efficiently, including leads, campaigns, referrals, and self-generated leads.
- Monitoring and reporting on sales performance, pipeline, acquisition results, and market conditions.
- Setting appointments, understanding customer needs, and recommending the most appropriate product.
- Conducting thorough research on prospects before making sales calls.
- Ensuring accurate and complete application submissions.
- Serving as the point of contact between Amex and the customer to resolve any application processing issues.
- Facilitating onboarding of new customers and driving spend enablement activities.
- Staying up-to-date on product knowledge and competitive offerings.
- Actively participating in regular staff meetings.
- Engaging with premium customers to build relationships and deliver positive customer experiences while acquiring new customers.
- Expanding both internal and external relationships to drive sales results.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Educational Background: MBA or Graduate
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of front-line/field sales experience in the financial services domain. Candidates with over 12 months of experience in B2C, IT sales, E-commerce, Travel, Lifestyle, Healthcare, or Real Estate can also apply.
Skills required:
- Experience in consultative selling.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
