Tenneco is currently conducting interviews for the position of Sales Specialist. As a Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include interacting with Retailers, Wholesalers, Mechanics, Reborers, and Product Vendors, providing them with comprehensive information on product lines and company policies.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Achievement of sales targets outlined in the annual budget, including individual revenue, team revenue, and collections, in accordance with the 2023 New Sales Incentive Policy.
- Engage and build relationships with Retailers, Wholesalers, Mechanics, Reborers, and Product Vendors.
- Thoroughly understand and communicate information related to all product lines and company policies, including pricing, discounts, returns, credits, and warranty terms.
- Conduct customer calls and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in adherence to company policies.
- Respond promptly and professionally to any product or service complaints raised by customers.
- Ensure customers receive, comprehend, and effectively utilize point of sale materials and catalogue information.
- Provide timely and professional communication of relevant market intelligence and customer feedback to direct supervisors.
- Develop and execute sales calls on local workshops and key accounts.
- Prepare daily visit reports and develop weekly planning for sales activities.
- Support distributors in approaching new business opportunities.
