Zscaler is currently seeking a People Services Intern to join their rapidly growing global network infrastructure in supporting their India People Operations Team. This role will play a crucial part in transforming the employee experience through process enhancements and new technologies.
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Employee Onboarding: Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials, conducting orientations, and ensuring completion of required paperwork.
- HR Data Management: Assist with data entry, update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System), maintain personnel files, and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits enrollment, respond to employee inquiries about benefits, and support the administration of various employee benefit programs.
- HR Policy and Compliance: Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and conduct research on HR best practices.
- HR Projects: Assist with various HR projects, such as HR process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and skills required:
- HR Knowledge: Familiarity with basic HR concepts, policies, and procedures, including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for accurate employee records, data entry, and documentation.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication for interactions with employees, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Confidentiality and Ethics: Maintain high levels of integrity, trustworthiness, and respect for privacy while handling sensitive employee information.
- Time Management: Prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Analyze situations, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions for various HR challenges.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with HRIS and other HR software to manage HR data and processes effectively.
